Our teaching concept
Genius Academy’s teaching is tailored to international health-care professionals in the professions of medicine, dentistry, and nursing, with the goal of preparing them for the mandatory professional language and knowledge tests required for recognition of their credentials in Germany.
In addition, social and intercultural skills are taught in order to best prepare our participants for working in medical practices and hospitals on a daily basis.
The Bloom Taxonomy is used to organize the overarching and specific learning objectives of theoretical competencies.
As a result, teaching units or lessons can be well-planned, and the learning process can be monitored on a frequent basis.
The Miller Pyramid is used to structure the overarching and specific learning objectives of practical competence, allowing us to display and train practical skills in our simulation units. Our scientifically based teaching approaches are constantly refined and a high level of teaching is assured through regular evaluations of our courses by participants and teachers.
Qualified teaching staff
Our lecturers include doctors, dentists, and nurses with appropriate degrees, as well as German approval and pedagogical ability. They have a thorough understanding of the legal and professional criteria of all foreign expert recognition examinations. They’ve also gone through the recognition process before and are familiar with the strengths and shortcomings of immigrant health-care workers.
Our instructors are certified language teachers with the necessary degrees and pedagogical credentials. They employ a variety of creative instructional strategies and provide personalised support for our students’ learning.
Practice training
Our teaching method includes practical tasks as well as classroom and e-learning components to ensure that students receive a well-rounded education. Foreign health care professionals must pass a practical skills test as part of their credentialing process.
